Someone showed me all 4 parts of this about an hour ago. Some of the voices are amusing, and the subversion of the expected experience through playing co-op and enabling random monster spawns is kinda interesting. Something pretty awesome that I had not expected happens near the end. First Minecraft video I've seen that wasn't someone showing off something they built.

This is one of those things that makes me wonder how memes spread... Erik posted not just a link to the same video, but the same exact link, about six months ago. He got it from his dad, if I recall correctly... What made you find it?

The RSA's YouTube channel has some other really cool stuff on it in the same vein as TED.

My guess, this came out right after Bieber had that interview where he (for the first time ever in public) talked about some political opinions, and surprise surprise, as a 16 year old, he's liberal.

Yeah, while I get he's all fundamentarded, you can't attribute his disdain to only that. There are lots of people who totally dis pop stars, especially perky upstarts like Bieber.

Besides, I had to post because I love the Animaniacs. My brother actually did a report on Magellan because of that song, and to this day, all the kids who were in his fifth grade class use Wakko's US song to name all the states and their capitals.

I saw it on one guy's website, so you know it's quality.

But on a more serious note, Beiber (and Gaga, Obama, and the countries of France and Canada, but not limited to these) get criticized for things that they actually aren't or didn't do, as opposed to genuine bad qualities; in Beiber and Gaga's case it's just having questionable hair and fashion sense, respectively.

I wouldn't really call Gaga's fashion sense questionable, certainly no more so than Marilyn Manson's, in that, when not performing, she dresses pretty normally. The weird outfits are for the stage as part of her act, it's the spectacle of big showy poppy rock...stuff.

...I would back up this assertion with pics, but all I can find right now is performance pics...

Not really, no. From heel-less shoes to not wearing a dress (just undies), to wearing things that look like quilts and hideous purple, wherever there's a camera (airport, restaurant, whatev...), Gaga is Gaga.

I saw her in the airport. She was dressed so normally that most people didn't realize that it was anyone special.
